It has been a while since my original review but we had such awesome service today that I felt compelled to update. We have been ordering steadily from this restaurant since my original review and today was the first time we had any sort of issue, in that we were missing a sauce. They remedied it in less than 15 minutes. Food was awesome as it has been.
We got a take out menu in the mail that looked suspiciously like the menu from our favorite that had recently closed. Best take out we have had since Fairway went out of business! Hot, fresh and super fast delivery!
I had eaten here once about 3 years ago and didn't like it, someone has made some serious changes for the better! -

I use to go to many chinese restaurants around the world so i am a quite of chinese food specialist.
Nothing special on this one. Chinese food prepared by hispanic people. We could heard they talking and listening spanish music out loud at the kitchen from our table. My kids also thought could be better.
Too many sauce and spices on all dishes. You taste only the same sauce.
And we ordered 2 meat dishes and both meats are so tenderized maybe they marinate a lot that's why all food was so spice or they use some unhealthy condiment to tenderize cheaper meats as eye round. -

Today I had a strong desire for fried rice, so I made my stop. I walked in 11 minutes after they opened (they open at 11a) and sat down immediately. Within a minute my order was taken. I know I said I wanted fried rice but when I walked I changed my mind to MA-LA Chicken.
I ordered the Lunch special -Entree, Egg roll, Rice and soup.
My wonton soup with the chips came out first. Two minutes after I made my order and it was good. The cup of soup comes with two noodles. FYI I ordered a regular take home of wonton soup and there were at least 8 noodles.
My entree arrived to my table on my last three spoons of Soup-that's what I call perfect timing. I started with the egg roll; dipping it ever so harshly into the duck sauce. Why??? Because it was so good.
My Ma-la Chicken was the BOMB!!! The chicken was very tender. The flavor was sweet with a nice hint of spiciness. -

Delicious food with excellent portions. Yummy! We loved C16, shrimp egg fu young, and sesame chicken. The green onion pancake was delightful.

We're new-ish to the area, been here a little over a year. We went to a Japanese restaurant before, but I'm not enthusiastic about the place. Tried this because it's the nearest Chinese Restaurant to the house, and my wife was lusting after Chinese food. We hadn't been there, because I didn't know it was there. It's not visible from Clear Lake Blvd, buried in the back of the Randall's parking lot. My wife ordered the Dinner Special, which is a spring roll, soup, and a choice of most of the regular entrees. I ordered the "Build Your Own Dish." You choose the meat, veggies, sauce, heat, and rice. Both were excellent. Service was fast, surprisingly fast. The food was on the table in just a few minutes. The drinks came quickly and were refilled as needed. The portion size was big enough that we will have at least one lunch from what we took home. The dining area is clean, tidy, well decorated. Definitely going back.
